It takes a bit of getting used to, but this is pretty useful.

This unit is ideally suite to summer when you’re more interested in cooler drinks, and not expecting to do too much filtering water for boiling.

It does get clogged pretty easily if you fill up from a stream, but for drinking, it is much more convenient than the aluminum bags that come with other Sawyer sets.

Also great in a bugout bag for warmer climates.

but for a more general, multi-season unit with greater flexibility, I’d recommend one of Sawyer’s minis or all-in-one filtration kits.
