There really isn’t that much to say about this emergency stove. It is what it is.
The photo shows the walls vertical at 90 degrees, but there are notches in the hinge that allows the walls to lock at 45 degrees, which is better for smaller items like a cup instead of a kettle, and probably helps in windy situations. For the fuel gels, you can pack more efficiently by fitting 4 fuel gels (still in their independent packaging) into the stove before folding it up, making a good emergency kit. There’s still some room in there for some additional tinder (I cut regular jute twine to about 2″ and soak them in parafin wax and dry them to make waterproof tinder, very easy to make and great waterproof tinder that lasts about two minutes)
At any rate, this thing is so small and so light that it makes a perfect emergency pack item. highly recommend it.
